UCO Work Permits

Transition work permits and tasks coordination for high-risk operations to electronic form. The system automates checking employee credentials and safety clearances, coordinate safety measures, and allows signing work permits via EDS (Sigex) directly on-site.

What Problems Does UCO Work Permits Solve?

Paper-based permit issuing slows down operations and spikes accidents risk due to expired employee credentials. Here are the core pain points we solve:

Hours Lost on Manual Paper Approvals

To start hot work or excavations, supervisors spend hours running between offices to collect physical signatures. In the digital journal, approval takes minutes.

Backdated Signing and Forgery

In case of accidents, physical permits are often edited or signed retroactively, creating severe legal risks. Digital signing (via Sigex) guarantees a secure tamper-proof digital footprint.

Uncertified Employees Admitted to Site

Supervisors cannot manually track safety certs and medical checks of hundreds of workers. The system automatically validates qualifications and blocks permit generation for non-compliant individuals.

Functional Modules

01

Digital Shift Task Registry

Create and run a central registry of shift tasks by work site. Support rapid creation via templates, copying past shifts, and recording actual completed work volumes.

02

Digital Signature (Sigex) Integration

Legally binding electronic signature. Workers and supervisors sign off permit issuance and closure using EDS, eliminating blank forms and manual falsifications.

03

Automatic Safety Controls

The system cross-checks HR and ACS databases to verify that active credentials, safety trainings, certifications, and pre-shift medical check results (ESMO) are valid for all crew members.

04

High-Risk Work Permit Logbook

Automate permits for hot work, excavation, working at heights, and confined spaces. Configure reviewers and enforce strict execution deadlines.

Business Value & ROI

Moving to digital permits accelerates task setup and cuts paper-handling costs:

3x speedup
Fast Approvals
Cut time needed to issue and approve high-risk permits through parallel sign-off in the web dashboard.
100%
Legal Security
Assurance that all permits are signed using EDS, carrying full legal weight (via Sigex service).
0 accidents
Uncertified Entry
Completely block assignment of workers with expired safety credentials or failed medical checks.

Integration Blueprint

The permit system acts as a key gateway for crew control:

Real-Time Data Synchronization

The UCO architecture supports secure integration with all key enterprise IT systems through modern interfaces:

  • ERP & Accounting: Two-way synchronization with 1C:ZUP, 1C:ERP, and SAP HR.
  • Directory Services: Single Sign-On (SSO) and employee credentials via Active Directory / LDAP.
  • External Platforms: Connections with access control systems, healthcare portals, job boards (hh.ru), and digital signatures.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Common questions about digital permits:

Are digital work permits legally binding in Kazakhstan?
Yes, thanks to integration with Sigex, signatures are made using official EDS keys from the National Certification Authority of the RK (NCA). Under the RK Law "On Electronic Document and Electronic Digital Signature", these permits are fully equivalent to paper ones.
What if there is no internet connection in a mine or remote site?
The system supports an emergency "Print Blank" mode. Master on-site can print the generated template with a unique ID, sign it by hand, and upload a scan or photo of the signed permit once back online.
How does integration with medical check terminals (ESMO) work?
Integration works via real-time APIs. When a permit is being issued, the system queries the medical terminal. If a worker hasn't passed their pre-shift medical check or failed due to blood pressure/alcohol detection, the system blocks them.
